Hello Friends and Family!

I'm off on another running adventure later this year to Berlin. I'm very excited to have the privilege of participating in another major marathon AND very thrilled to be partnering with Keep A Child Alive (KCA) to help raise funds to support the great work they are doing.

A little background on KCA: it was co-founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys and the focus is to provide essential support to children suffering with HIV/AIDS. There are programs across Africa and Asia and KCA reaches 150,000 children, young people and adults. KCA works shoulder to shoulder with front line activists and local partners to deliver thematic programs that lift people out of poverty, gain access to education and secure a low impact, sustainable future.

If you are wondering what your support can provide, here are some tangible examples:

$30 Provides one month of comprehensive, life-saving care to a child living with HIV

$75 Offers a place to live including care for an orphaned child for one month

$100 Feeds two families in South Africa impacted by HIV for a month

$250 Pays for skills training and loan to start a small business, enabling Indian mothers to support their families

$500 Provides a Ugandan pregnant woman with 18 months of care, everything she needs to prevent mother-to-child transmission to her baby
